Tick-borne Borreliosis: A Life-Long Disease?

Tick-borne encephalitis, a dange­rous viral disease affecting the cent­ral nervous system, hardly needs any introduction, especially, in connection with the recent seasonal peak of morbidity. However, another disease, now of bacterial origin, and also borne by ticks has attracted the attention of Russian physicians and scientists only recently.
